Listings in the North Carolina Directory of Renewable Energy Professionals (the Directory) are open to firms providing specialized products and/or services related to renewable energy or energy efficiency in the state of North Carolina.
Firms and individuals listed in the Directory must have a
current business license and any professional registration
required by the State of North Carolina for their field of
practice. Building related professionals should refer to
the most recent edition of Volume 1-A of the North Carolina
State Building Code: Adminstration and Enforcement
Requirements and The General Statutes Pertaining to the
Enforcement of the North Carolina State Building Code.
Building related professions requiring NC registration
include, but are not limited to, Architect, Engineer,
General Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Electrical
Contractor and HVAC Contractor. Real estate professionals
should refer to North Carolina Real Estate License Law in
Chapter 93A of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
The North Carolina Solar Center (NCSC) reserves the right to remove listings that do not meet the above stated requirements. In addition, companies that have ceased operations or have a negative record with the Better Business Bureau may be removed. Discontinued listings may be reinstated upon proof of compliance with the stated requirements.
The North Carolina Solar Center makes no endorsement or recommendation of firms and individuals listed in the Directory. Registrants may not make representations of endorsement by NCSC as a result of being listed in the Directory.
